Service Description

I am really excited to launch my very first "Pilates workshop". Have you got stored up questions you want to ask? Would you like to understand more of the Pilates terms? Do you wonder what you should do in a class at times but don’t feel you can ask? Are there specific exercises you want to work on? Are you unsure what muscles are working or what you should be feeling? This one-off session will be two hours digging into Pilates in a bit more depth - going over positions, movements, what things mean, why we do it, what your adjustment is, what your progression/regression for your body would be, are your core muscles working, why doesn’t something do what you think it should be doing, experimenting to feel something in your body slightly differently. Anything that you feel would like to ask and know more about. You will leave with homework to practice and helpful tips for you to bring back to class. The workshop will be interactive and physical and determined by you as to how it ends up going. We would begin with exploring what questions you have (if any and do not worry if you do not right now) and then we would work through a Pilates class in a stop/start structure discussing the exercises with questions thrown in as we go (when there are questions), understanding positions and specific moves. If you don’t want to discuss something or don’t have questions then you keep moving so, if you are quiet you would get a long and challenging workout :) You may not know your questions or have any right now - they may appear as you start to move but you may also just want to listen and learn from the other participants. I’ve not seen anything like this around and I thought it would be so amazing if you wanted to deepen your Pilates knowledge and your own body and it would be a little different! Quite often in classes we do go off on tangents and many of you have questions, so this is a perfect scenario to allow this to happen and for us to explore. It will almost be like a one-to-one session but in a small group situation. Numbers are very limited and spaces are on a first come first served basis.

Cancellation Policy

For MAT and MOTR classses, please cancel before 4 hours from the start of any class to keep your class pass credit. For 1-2-1/1-2-2 please allow 12 hours for cancellations to ensure your session can be moved. For one-off events please note there are no refunds for cancellations.
