Service Description

Spring is a time of renewal, rejuvenation & regeneration. After the Winter season, where we want to conserve our energy, Spring is about increasing our movement, which begins this year on March 20th 2023. For this next event we will celebrate the new season by moving with Pilates and relaxing with Yoga Nidra in a new and unique occasion. You do not need to have done any Meditation/Relaxation/Yoga Nidra before to attend. What Pilates will we do? We will begin with a strong, energising Pilates class to get your blood pumping around your body, fire up your muscles and release endorphins. We will flow and hold positions through the session. What is Yoga Nidra? Yoga Nidra literally means ‘yogic sleep’. It is a relaxation technique that aims to guide our body and mind to a state of deep relaxation. You will drift in and out of sleep during the session, although the aim is to stay awake. The technique gives some points of focus for the mind and body, however through that experience the body can find deep relaxation and the mind can find different levels of relaxation. If you have a very active mind this may work for you and help to quieten the mind and/or ‘let go’. Coz, will take your Pilates session lasting around 45/50 minutes and our special guest Caroline will lead the Yoga Nidra session lasting around 45/50 minutes. We will stop for a short break in-between and offer herbal teas and a healthy snack to finish. Many of you will know Caroline and I'm so excited to introduce her to you with her incredible Yoga knowledge and experience. Introducing Caroline Caroline has been interested in yoga since her early twenties. In the mid 2000s she trained with The British Wheel of Yoga to become a fully qualified yoga teacher. After completing the 3 year diploma course in 2006 and teaching classes, she moved to Singapore in 2011. Since returning to the UK, she enjoys acting as a ‘locum’ yoga teacher for some of the teachers in the local area. It would also be a good time to mention that it is Mothers Day on Sunday 19th March, the weekend before. This could be a wonderful present from your loved ones. Cancellation Policy

For MAT and MOTR classses, please cancel before 4 hours from the start of any class to keep your class pass credit. For 1-2-1/1-2-2 please allow 12 hours for cancellations to ensure your session can be moved. For one-off events please note there are no refunds for cancellations.
